Once a volunteer has given a certain amount of help (see below), he or she is considered a full member and has access to certain privileges. These specifically include getting in for free to public events where we ask a fee, and being allowed to come to special members-only events.

Officers are the next level up. They are in charge of various aspects of running the club. Theoretically they will be voted on at regular intervals (currently they're all volunteers). There is another page devoted to the [[Officers]].

After spending some time in the club and running a few events or taking an officer position (again, see below), a full member becomes a permanent member. A permanent member has all of the benefits of a current member, with the added bonus that after a year has passed he or she will still be a member! Permanent members have put enough time and effort into the club that they receive all the bonuses of being a full member for the rest of their lives (Note: under discussion), regardless of future activeness in the club.

Activeness is judged on a point system. To maintain membership status, a volunteer has to accumulate 5 points over the course of the year. There are a lot of ways to gain points, though, especially over IAP, so this really isn't hard.
