Some general guidelines to follow when running your own event:

1. Publicity: Send out plenty of emails in advance, both to chocolatiers and chocolatiers-volunteers, to make sure that you will have enough people who know about it and enough people to help you out with it.

2. Supplies: Unless you have proved to be very unreliable, you are probably welcome to use LCS's supplies as long as you promote us in your event. Just be sure to email preeya@mit.edu at least a week ahead of time with the information of which supplies you want to use, when you want to use them, and when you will be returning them. This will allow you to know if you will be able to use the supplies, and will also help us track them down if anything goes missing.

3. Room: If you're holding your event in an actual on-campus room, you need to contact the Schedules office well in advance (generally a few weeks ahead of time) to book the room.
